Sansevieria's are originally from Africa and are one of the easiest houseplants to care for. The plant is also called 'Mother-In-Laws Tongue'. With its beautiful upward thickened leaves, the Sansevieria is a true masterpiece to see. The plant is characterized by its green with yellow-striped leaves. It is an ideal houseplant for people without green fingers. The Sansevieria is air-purifying and improves the humidity in a room.
Care
Sansevieria's prefer a light location with full sun to half shade and require little water. The 'only way' to kill a Sansevieria is to give the plant too much water. It is important that all soil has dried thoroughly before you water the plant again, otherwise there is a risk of root rot. During the winter, the plant can go without water for 6 to 8 weeks. During the growing season (in spring and summer) watering once every 2 weeks is sufficient. The plant performs well in both a dark and light location.
Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
