Asplenium antiquum, commonly known as Bird’s Nest Fern, is native to tropical East Asia, including China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. In the wild, it grows as an epiphyte on trees, forming a rosette-shaped “nest” that collects rainwater and organic debris. Its glossy, light green leaves make it a popular choice for creating kokedama, terrariums, or adding lush, tropical greenery to indoor spaces.

Growing & Care

Semi shady spot to bright indirect light. Allow most of the soil to dry out between waters, using room temperature water.
