String of Hearts & String of Pearls Plants

Few houseplants trail as beautifully as the "string of" family. Their long, delicate stems cascade over the edge of a shelf or hanging pot, making these some of the most charming trailing plants indoors.

Our collection includes the string of hearts plant (Ceropegia woodii), with heart-shaped, silver-marbled leaves, plus the pink-tinged variegated string of hearts and 'Silver Glory'. You'll also find the string of pearls plant, also known as string of beads (Senecio rowleyanus), and the tiny patterned leaves of the string of turtles.

For string of pearls care, give your plant bright light and let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings, since the bead-like leaves store water. String of hearts care is similar: bright, indirect light and sparing watering, especially in winter. String of turtles prefers bright, indirect light and slightly more regular watering. All three look their best in a hanging pot where their stems can trail freely.
