Wiring is one of the key techniques for shaping a bonsai tree, allowing you to position branches and create the classic bonsai silhouette. Our anodised aluminium bonsai wire is soft, easy to bend and gentle on bark.

Choose from a full range of diameters from 1mm up to 6mm, in 100g and 500g rolls. Use thinner wire for fine branches and twigs, and thicker wire for trunks and main branches. As a guide, choose wire about one third the thickness of the branch you're shaping.
