Meet the Crassula ovata (Jade plant)

Crassula ovata, commonly known as the Jade Plant, is a succulent native to the arid regions of South Africa. Part of a genus containing over 200 species, it features fleshy, ovate, round-shaped deep green leaves and develops a tree-like form over time. Adapted to dry, rocky habitats, Crassula ovata can grow up to 2.5 metres in height in its natural environment, making it a resilient, long-lived, and iconic succulent valued in collections worldwide.

Growing & Care

Bright warm spot with some direct sunlight. Water when soil is completely dry. No humidity. A balanced houseplant fertiliser. Left to grow, expect a spread of Up to 30 to 60 cm wide and a height of Up to 30 to 90 cm tall with time.

Once every year or two.
