Radermachera is a very easy to care for houseplant, tolerant of a wide range of lighting conditions.

The radermachera is sometimes called the serpent tree because of its long and warped seedpods, which burst open to disperse their seeds. It is also called the emerald tree because of its lush glossy green leaves.

If you are prepared to regularly prune the radermachera it makes a great bonsai tree.
