Tillandsia caput-medusae, commonly called Caput Medusae or Octopus Plant, is a striking air plant in the Bromeliad family. It is native to Central America, including Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. Growing epiphytically in tropical forests, this evergreen herb forms dramatic rosettes and can produce striking tubular blue-red flowers in early summer, making it a visually captivating and collectible air plant.

Growing & Care

Warm spot with bright, indirect light away from a radiator. Water every week to every 10 days by soaking the leaves in water for 20 minutes to an hour (Make sure that you don't get the 'root' wet as this will lead to rot) Shake them afterwards to remove excess water.
