Meet the Ctenanthe setosa 'Compact Star'

Ctenanthe setosa ‘Compact Star’ is a cultivated variety of a tropical species native to Brazil. Belonging to the Marantaceae family, it grows naturally along the forest floor in warm, humid conditions. This variety is admired for its pale grey-green leaves etched with darker green striping and rich purple undersides. Like other members of the prayer plant family, its foliage gently lifts at night and lowers again during the day, a natural movement known as nyctinasty.

Growing & Care
