Monstera deliciosa is a tropical evergreen climbing plant native to the rainforests of southern Mexico and Central America. In its natural habitat, it grows using aerial roots to climb trees in warm, humid conditions. It is best known for its large, glossy, heart-shaped leaves that develop distinctive splits and holes (fenestrations) as the plant matures. This natural adaptation helps it withstand heavy rainfall and capture filtered light beneath the forest canopy.

Growing & Care
