Meet the Crassula 'Buddhas Temple'

Crassula ‘Buddha’s Temple’, commonly called Buddha’s Temple, is a compact and unusual succulent hybrid native to South Africa and Mozambique. Created in 1959 by Myron Kimnach by crossing Crassula pyramidal and Crassula perfoliata var. minor, it features tightly stacked grey-green leaves with curling tips that resemble the tiers of a Chinese temple. Growing up to 15 cm tall, it can produce small pink flowers in summer, adding a delicate splash of colour to its sculptural form.

Growing & Care

Bright warm spot with some direct sunlight. Water when soil is completely dry. No humidity. A balanced houseplant fertiliser. Left to grow, expect a spread of Up to 10 to 30 cm spread and a height of Up to 30 cm tall with time.

Once every year or two.
