Meet the Humata tyermanii (White Rabbit Foots Fern)

Humata tyermanii, commonly known as the White Rabbit’s Foot Fern, is a fascinating tropical fern native to the forests of Southeast Asia. It is named for its soft, fuzzy white rhizomes that creep over the surface of the pot and resemble tiny rabbit’s feet. In the wild, this fern grows as an epiphyte on trees and rocks in warm, humid environments beneath the forest canopy. Its delicate, finely divided green fronds and unusual furry roots make it a wonderful choice for bathrooms or bright rooms with higher humidity.
